Hello! Welcome to Handmade by Helen. I'm Helen, the owner, chief maker, designer, packer and most importantly... tea maker!

Handmade by Helen was established in 2013 whilst I was away studying Music at University. I began by making home decorations, mainly hanging hearts, cushion covers and bunting, occasionally making wedding favours and wedding venue decorations. After graduating in 2015, I turned my little hobby into a full time business, working from the living room at home.

In 2017, whilst making decorations & gifts for my brothers wedding, I started making more and more wedding themed gifts. Making just personalised coat hangers and glasses at first, this soon developed into a long list of other personalised items, most of which you will find on this website today.    

All  orders are still prepared at by myself in my workshop at home. All of the items that you see listed on my website aren't just for weddings, they can be personalised to suit any occasion, birthday's, anniversary's, mother's day etc.
